Grapes & Grub in Galena

Dressed with historic charm, rolling hills and scenic roads, Galena, IL is home to many comforts. On this trip we will visit Galena Cellars Vineyard where we will enjoy a tour and wine tasting, which will include six different wines, and a guided narrative walking tour. Lunch will be at Vinny Vanucchi's "Little Italy" restaurant. We will arrive in time for you to explore Galena's historic Main Street before lunch. Your trip includes transportation to and from Galena, all admission fees, lunch and gratuities. Registration deadline is June 21.

Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens

Celebrating the history, culture and people of Japan, the Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis is one of the largest and oldest festivals of its kind in the United States. Hosted by one of the largest Japanese gardens in North America, this unique event has been held at this location since 1977. Your trip includes transportation to and from St. Louis and admission to the festival. Registration deadline is August 2nd.

Ghosts, Graveyards & Gangsters

Come with us if you dare! What is more fitting in October than visiting some of Chicago's haunted sites? Ursula Bielski, host of PBS "The Hauntings of Chicago" and a recognized leading authority on the Chicago region's ghostlore, will take us on a tour of some haunted spots in and around Chicago. Get ready to visit the sites of the 1893 World's Fair and the Murder Castle of H.H. Holmes and Robinson Woods with its haunted Indian Cemetery. Lunch will be served at The Great Escape where Al Capone was known to be a regular customer. It was also a filming location for the Tom Mix shorts. Your trip includes all transportation, lunch and all gratuities. Sorry, no refunds after 9/20.
