Certified ScrumMaster & Certified Scrum Product Owner Training

Become a certified ScrumMaster.

About the training

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) training is offered at the Normal campus.

CSM is a two-day training that introduces the concepts of agile project leadership using the Scrum methodology. Once complete, you become Certified ScrumMaster, the first step in the journey towards this more adaptive form of project leadership. To learn more about Scrum, please see, "Who Uses Scrum and Why?" at the Scrum Alliance web site.

For more information about the learning objectives of the CSM or CSPO training, see the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster Learning Objectives or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner Learning Objectives.

At the end of training, you will receive a link to the online CSM exam. You will take the exam during the last hour of the training on the second day. Please bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop in order to take the exam in the classroom.

CSPO training is for product owners on a Scrum team who want to learn how to use Scrum on the “businesses side” of a Scrum project.

Breakfast and lunch are provided. If you have special dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies, etc.), please let us know on your registration form.

Find out more information on ScrumMaster Certification at the Scrum Alliance website FAQ.
