Child Development Lab Substitutes
We seek applicants for a pool of temporary, part-time substitutes to work on an as needed basis in the College’s Child Development Lab (CDL). The CDL is a nationally accredited laboratory school providing care and education to children six weeks to five years of age as well as field experience for college students. Substitutes will work cooperatively with Child Development Specialists in mixed age infant/toddler or preschool classrooms to implement age appropriate activities, maintain safety, and support learning goals.
- Completion of 60+ credit hours at an accredited institution with a minimum of 12 credit hours directly related to early childhood education
- Previous successful experience in a childcare setting
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field
- Gateways Level 4 Infant Toddler or Early Childhood credential
