Tenure-Track Faculty: Industrial Technology

We invite applicants for a full-time, 9-month position within the College’s Career and Technical Education division to begin Fall 2020. This position may include teaching evening or weekend classes, at off-campus locations, or in alternative delivery formats. Position will include teaching dual credit metals class for the Area Career Center in addition to on-campus credit classes. 

In addition to primary teaching functions, responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Develop curriculum and engage in laboratory development and maintenance
  • Participate in assessment related to student learning outcomes
  • Participate in departmental and College-wide initiatives and events as appropriate 


  • Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Machining, Maintenance, or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least one year of full-time industrial work experience in manufacturing or related areas
  • Ability to teach machining and CNC 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Manufacturing, Technical Education, or related field
  • Successful college-level teaching experience in Industrial Technology areas including Machining, CNC, and manufacturing
  • NIMS, MSSC, or other related certifications
  • Ability to teach a broad range of machining, CNC, and manufacturing courses
