McLean County Chamber honors Heartland

January 29, 2018

Heartland Community College was awarded the Large Business Excellence Award for 2017 by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout the year the McLean County Chamber of Commerce honors select individuals and businesses for their contributions to the business community in McLean County. Heartland was chosen from a group of six finalists including GROWMARK, Inc., Four Seasons Health Club, STL, BW Premier Collection, and Regency Hotel and Conference Center.

“We’re honored to be recognized by the Chamber and to be alongside this group of outstanding nominees,” said Heartland Community College President Rob Widmer. “This award is a recognition of the hard work and commitment of all Heartland Community College employees. They work every day to not only help students succeed on their academic and personal career paths, but also to make the College a valuable resource and partner within the community.”

The award was presented to Heartland at the McLean County Chamber Annual Gala on Saturday, January 27.
