Community Education offers interesting and affordable adult and youth classes in a safe and comfortable environment. We have workshops to help you get in shape, retool for a new career, improve your skills to increase your employment value or learn a new hobby. If your goal is to earn a certificate or degree, or to transfer from Heartland Community College to a four year college, you will need credit courses.

JUST ANNOUNCED: YEP Technology Scholarship Grants Available

Community Education is excited to announce that we have received a grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation enabling us to offer six full, need-based scholarships for youth technology classes for summer 2015. We will offer three scholarships for grades 3-5 and three scholarships for grades 6-8. Each student will be awarded full tuition for one technology course from a list of available classes.
