Registration Information

  • If you received your ticket in McLean County and are eligible for Traffic Safety School:

    • You may register for our class with the McLean County Law and Justice Center when you pay your ticket.
    • You will be scheduled into a class and receive a letter of confirmation.
    • If you need to re-schedule the class, you may call us at (309) 268-8159 after you receive the confirmation letter. 

    If you received a ticket in McLean County and wish to attend a Traffic Safety School in another county, you are responsible for:

    • Indicating "I want to attend Traffic Safety School outside of McLean County" when you register for our class with the McLean County Law and Justice Center and pay for your ticket.
    • Finding somewhere to take it. Here is a list of Recognized Traffic Safety Programs (PDF)
    • Paying any fees that they may charge for their course. 
    • Making sure that the course is certified by an approved provider such as National Curriculum & Training Institute, National Safety Council, Northwestern University, AAA. If you have questions about whether a course will qualify, please contact us at (309) 268-8159. 
    • Completing the course and mailing your certificate of completion before your course completion deadline to:

    • Note: Online programs do not meet McLean County requirements.
  • If you received a citation outside of McLean County and wish to take our class:

    • Please call us at (309) 268-8159. 
  • Class Schedule

    4 hour classes ($50): Select Wednesdays and Fridays (6-10PM) or Saturdays (8AM-12PM or 1-5PM)
    8 hour classes ($70): 6 classes/year on select Saturdays (8AM-5PM)

    Both our 4 hour and 8 hour courses have been approved by McLean County Circuit Court.
