Apply to Heartland

We can't wait for you to get started at Heartland! Please review the important information below before applying. 

You may not need to reapply if in the last 12 months you have:

• Already submitted an application OR
• Taken a class at Heartland

You do need to reapply if:

• You took College NOW (dual credit) classes during high school and are now applying to attend after completing high school OR
• You completed a certificate or degree and want to start a new program of study.

If you are unsure if you need to submit a new application, please email Admissions@heartland.edu.

After completing the application, do not close your browser until the confirmation message appears that your application was successfully submitted. This may take a few moments. 

To complete the application, you will need:

• Social Security Number (SSN)
  • If you are unable to provide an SSN when submitting your application, we will send you a link to provide an SSN or ITIN, or to confirm that you do not have one.  
  • A hold will be placed on your account, preventing registration until this form is completed.

High School/College NOW applicants

International F-1 Visa Students

• If you will be a Visiting Student at Heartland while you remain primarily enrolled on an F-1 visa at another US college or university, click the Apply Now button to submit the standard online application. Permission from the Designated School Official (DSO) at your university will be required. 

• New or transferring F-1 students, DO NOT submit the standard application. You must complete the international student application process.
